Bob Sternfels

Bob Sternfels is the global managing partner of McKinsey & Company and chairs the firm’s board of directors. His focus is on ensuring McKinsey lives up to its dual mission of helping our clients realize lasting and substantial improvements in their performance, while also attracting, developing, and retaining exceptional people. Bob is a founding member of the African Leadership Group Advisory Board and Partnership for San Francisco. He also serves as co-chair of the First Chance Campaign at Concordance. He sits on the boards of the U.S.-China Business Council, FCLTGlobal, the Center for Strategic and International Studies, and the With Honor Advisory Board. He is an active member of the Business Roundtable, Asia Business Council, the International Advisory Council for the Singapore Economic Development Board, the Tsinghua SEM Advisory Board, the Trilateral Commission, and the Council on Foreign Relations.
