The Wheelchair Basketball team of Firouz defeated his Armenian rival by score of 61- 15 and grabbed the first position in its first overseas competition.
The secretary for Qazvin Province Veterans and Disabled Sports Board said this tournament was held by participation of 4 teams including two Armenian teams, a Georgian team and Iranian Team and the Firouz Team grabbed the first position finally according to Peik –e Tavana.
Sirous Malemiri added the Firouz team had such exercises within the running year and the result also shows great potential of Firouz team.
Malehmiri said Wheelchair Basketball team of Firouz has the potential to participate in other great tournaments in terms of planning as well as physical capability.
It is worth mentioning that Wheelchair Basketball team of Firouz participated in the mentioned tournament by invitation of Armenian Federation of Disabled Sports and it is planned to participate in the First League too.
