Golnaz Hossein-Abadi, Representative of Japanese Embassy visited DAT. She had a
meeting with DAT management. The session was held by attending Deputy Chairman,
Managing Director, Head of medical care, Head of Public Relations and Head of
international relations, according to international relations unit of DAT.
MR Hadipour, Managing Director of DAT welcomed
the representative and introduced the approaches, objectives and activities of
center. Then a film was broadcasted about entrepreneurship activities by the
center.
“Major activities have been carried out by the
Embassy in relation to people with disabilities including removal of the
primary requirements in construction of the health and educational centers,
purchase of medical equipments and etc.” Hossein-Abadi said. She also
introduced the Japanese Embassy and the Embassy’s mission in relation to active
organizations which work for people with disabilities.
It is worth mentioning the Embassy of Japan has
supported state organizations and most often NGOs for 8 years. Supplying the
dental unit and equipments for rehabilitation and physiotherapy during the last
three years was included most of undertaken projects.
Hossein-Abadi presented a report on the
undertaken projects by the Embassy that these activities have been made some
active organizations` promotion in relation to people with disabilities at
various cities such as Mazandaran and Arak.
At the end, the representative of Japanese
Embassy visited various units and workshops of DAT. She expressed her happiness
towards the activities of DAT and pointed to the center as one of the most
successful NGOs. She stated the Embassy`s readiness in cooperation with DAT in
the field of Rehabilitation.
