Founder of the Disability
Association of Tavana (DAT) said this association has contributed to the
creation of several hundred job opportunities in the current Iranian year
(ending in March 21st, 2018), which has been named the Year of Resilience
Economy, and this initiative can be considered as a good example for the
industry sector, Peky-e Tavan reported.
Speaking in the “Conference of
Employment Jihad” in the conference hall of Qazvin Islamic Propagation
Organization on the occasion of the employment of some 200 new disabled
employees in Firouz Company, Seyed Mohammad Mousavi pointed out: “Some 500
disabled people were working in Firouz Company. Also, some 140 more disabled
individuals have recently been employed in this company and some 60 other have
been recruited from other provinces.”
“Up to the end of the year,
another 400 disabled people will be employed. Also, some other disabled
individuals are working in other factories affiliated to DAT,” Mousavi added.
Elsewhere in his remarks, the
DAT founder pointed out: “It is a great honor for us to be able to create this
amount of job opportunities for disabled people in the year that has been named
the Year of Resilience Economy. The industry sector should attach great
importance to this initiative and consider it as a good example.”
“We showed that instead of using
machineries, we can employ our capable but jobless young people,” he continued.
Elaborating on the fact that the
approach of Employment Jihad can result in the shift of people’s attitude
toward the disabled individuals, Mousavi added that such an approach can convey
this message to the capital owners who are committed to ethical and religious
principles that they can provide more help and support to the people.
Referring to the fact that
disabled people are not incapable individuals who require commiseration and
sympathy of other people, he observed: “We should act in a way that when we
hear about disabled people, their names are not associated with weakness and
sympathy. Rather, this approach should remind us of the persistence and
tolerance in their lives.”
Emphasizing on the necessity of
the implementation of his own concept of Divine Capitalism, the DAT founder
pointed out: “When we started our work some 23 years ago, we had no other
capital beside the human capital. We proved that despite our limitations,
however, we can be quite constructive.”
Mousavi elaborated on the importance of the implementation of justice according
to the guidelines of Imam Ali (PBU) and the recommendations of the supreme
leader of the Islamic Revolution and added: “We disabled people did a lot to
accredit those officials who had promised to act according to justice during
the course of the Islamic Revolution. This is another indicator of constructive
roles that can be played by disabled people.”
“Human resources are main
capitals in societies. These resources are constructed and accumulated from the
childhood period and we are formulating some plans and programs in order to
educate both parents and their children,” Seyed Mohamamd Mousavi said.
Founder of the Disability
Association of Tavan added: “The country requires economic security.
Nevertheless, some administrative departments and organizations are creating
obstacles for entrepreneurs and if these obstacles are removed, we can witness
economic growth.”
Mousavi
urged provincial and national authorities to support DAT in order to prepare
the context for disabled people to be further employed and to act as
entrepreneurs.
