The 16th commendation festival of elite students was held by DAT in order to
change the society attitude towards abilities of the disabled and to make happy
hours for families according to Peyke-Tavana.
This festival was held at
roofless cinema of DAT and attended more than 1200 students together with their
families which came to about 3000 people.
The festival was welcomed a large number of people in Qazvin, the disabled and
their families and some artists and authorities in its16th year of holding.
The DAT in its 16 festival hosted more than 1200 students together with their
families which came to 3000 people, managing director told to Peyke-Tavana.
“Student festival is the
greatest and strongest cultural movement in the country
That is held by the disabled in the area of students. Students festival has
been reached a great achievements and one of them is improving the society
attitude to disabled abilities.” Mohammad Reza Hadipour, managing director of
DAT said.
“Changing the society attitude towards the disabled abilities and showing
successful models of the people with disabilities to the society were the most
important purposes of the festival. One of the effective measures of the 16th
festival was poll of the audience every night.” Mohammad Hassan Hadi, cultural
and social assistance of DAT said.
“The festival cost nearly a billion Rials which was provided through activities
of DAT workshops.” Hussein Taromian, executive secretary of the 16th festival
said.
“The Student festival while encourage the students to studying, teaches them to
change their ideas towards the abilities of the disabled if they are appointed
as the authorities of the country in the future. Marzie Karimi, public
relations officer also said.
It should be noted that all
students of first to forth elementary grades who had registered at the festival
were awarded without draw and students with disability commemorated especially.
It should be noted that about 20 percent of students in fifth elementary grade
to pre-university grade were awarded by draw. These prizes include Tablet, gold
coin, gifts card and etc.
Attending
masters with disability, presenting happy and joyful programs, awarding
valuable prizes to students with and without disability, singing by the
children and youth with disability, attending famous singers and artists and
etc. were included other programs of this festival.
This festival also was held in two branches of DAT at Alborz and Takestan.
