Emma Cantlay is the director of the iDeas Lab at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). In this role, she focuses on project and personnel management, running the department's day-to-day operations. She helps lead strategic planning for the department, streamlining processes and managing budget investments. Previously, she was deputy director of the CSIS External Relations department, where she managed the communications, publications, and streaming and broadcasting teams. She holds a BA in political science and homeland security and a minor in social innovation and social entrepreneurship from Tulane University. She joined CSIS in June 2018.
