Joseph Lim

Joseph Han Sung Lim is a research associate with the Economic Security and Technology Department at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). His research focuses on global technology competition, macroeconomics, and financial systems, with a regional focus on East Asia. Prior to joining CSIS, he was a research assistant at the Korea Society, where he worked on U.S.–ROK joint shipbuilding and small modular reactor development. Joseph received his MA in Asian studies from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and his BA, magna cum laude, in international affairs with a double major in economics from Tufts University. He speaks fluent Korean.
