Josiane Atallah

Josiane Atallah is a program manager for the Middle East Program at CSIS. She is an international development professional with expertise in program management, partnerships, and grantmaking across education, health, and economic recovery sectors. With extensive experience in the MENA region, particularly in Lebanon, she has worked with civil society actors and governments to strengthen governance, drive equitable growth and respond to crisis. Her career has spanned roles in humanitarian aid, localization, and peacebuilding, with a focus on elevating local voices and fostering collaboration between global and community-based actors. Prior to joining CSIS, Josiane was an Agents of Change Youth Fellow at the Wilson Center, and contributed to research for UN agencies, the Council of Europe and the MENA Social Policy Network. Josiane earned her Master’s in International Relations from the Syracuse University Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs on a Fulbright Scholarship.
