Kunal Sinha

Kunal Sinha is the cofounder and CEO of Valor, a deep-tech startup redefining and reshoring the separation and refining of critical minerals. Valor is developing a breakthrough technology platform capable of processing complex and unconventional feedstocks to isolate high-purity critical and strategic metals orders of magnitude cheaper, cleaner, and faster. Prior to cofounding Valor, Kunal spent 14 years in senior leadership roles at Glencore, most recently as SVP marketing for critical minerals in North America, and global head of recycling, managing the global supply chains for these same critical minerals. Kunal also invested in the space for Glencore and advised the U.S., Canada, and UK governments on critical minerals policy and strategy. Before Glencore, Kunal spent six years in management consulting at ZS Associates. He holds an MBA from London Business School, an MS in systems and entrepreneurial engineering (robotics) from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign, and a BTech in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India.
