Pamela Passman is the Global Chair, Corporate Advisory for APCO where she counsels leaders and boards of directors on managing geopolitical risk, the intersection of technology and policy, financial transactions, market regulation and corporate governance. For 15 years, Pamela worked with Microsoft Corporation and served as Corporate Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, Global Corporate and Regulatory Affairs. Pamela led Microsoft’s global government relations, public policy and regulatory affairs, philanthropic programs, and cross-company corporate citizenship work. Pamela first joined Microsoft in Tokyo and led legal and government affairs teams in the Asia region. Pamela is the former president and founder of the Center for Responsible Enterprise and Trade (CREATe.org) and vice chair of the Ethisphere Institute, two organizations that provide companies with governance, compliance and risk-management solutions across their global value chains. She practiced law with Covington & Burling in Washington, D.C. and Nagashima & Ohno in Tokyo, Japan. Pamela serves on the board and as chair of the Nominations and Governance Committee of Kinaxis Inc., a Toronto-listed SAAS supply chain management company. She chairs the board of Kids in Need of Defense (KIND), the largest non-profit providing pro bono legal services to unaccompanied minors before immigration authorities.
