Shruti Sharma

Shruti Sharma is a program manager and research associate in the Renewing American Innovation program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), where she supports research on semiconductors, artificial intelligence, and other emerging technologies in the context of national and economic security. Prior to joining CSIS, she held research and consulting roles in technology policy and digital governance, evaluating large-scale digital initiatives, analyzing algorithmic systems and online information dynamics, and producing policy briefs and strategy memos to support senior decision-makers and international dialogues on AI and platform regulation. Shruti holds an MA in strategy, cybersecurity, and intelligence from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies and an MA in international studies from Symbiosis International University in India. She has published on technology policy, cybersecurity, and digital governance.
