Tina Huang is the senior program manager for Responsible AI Internal Policy and Practice at Google. Previously, she was the director of strategic initiatives at EqualAI, a nonprofit leading the movement to reduce unconscious bias and harm in the development and deployment of AI across sectors. Earlier, Tina was the policy program manager at the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence, where she created and led programs designed to enhance collaboration on AI between academia, industry, civil society, and policymakers. Tina also served as the AI policy fellow for former Representative Jerry McNerney (CA-09), then cochair of the Congressional AI Caucus. Before working on the Hill, Tina was a research analyst at Georgetown’s Center for Security and Emerging Technology, where she focused on the global competition for AI talent, U.S. military investments in AI, and the calibration of trust in human-machine teams engaged in warfare environments. Tina is also an adviser to Girl Security and a 2022 Shawn Brimley Next Generation National Security Fellow at the Center for a New American Security.
