Veronica Rice is a web assistant at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). She is an international development professional specializing in democracy, human rights, and governance. She has managed multimillion-dollar U.S. Agency for International Development portfolios across Latin America and Africa, coordinated high-level research and events at CSIS, and contributed to UN- and EU-funded initiatives supporting migrant integration. Her work spans data curation in authoritarian contexts, program management, and policy analysis. Raised between Spain and the United States and fluent in English and Spanish, she brings a global perspective and experience working with multilateral institutions, think tanks, and grassroots organizations. Veronica holds an MA in international development cooperation from Universidad de La Rioja and a BA in international relations, summa cum laude, from the University of San Diego.
