The workshop on “Educational-Technical Course on Learning Disruptions for Teachers of Grade 1 Classes in Primary Schools” was organized through the efforts of the Disability Association of Tavana (DAT) and the Education Department of Qazvin Province.

Classes in Primary Schools” was organized through the efforts of the Disability
Association of Tavana (DAT) and the Education Department of Qazvin Province.
According to the Public
Relations Department of DAT, it has been agreed upon to hold educational and
technical courses for the enhancement of scientific and technical potentials of
grade 1 teachers in primary schools through the cooperation of the Disability Association
of Tavana and the Education Department of Qazvin Province. Such courses
are organized in order to draw the attention of school authorities to students
which have special needs.
This course was organized in
order to elevate the capabilities of teachers of grade 1 classes and help them
identify the learning problems of their students.
The workshop on
“Educational-Technical Course on Learning Disruptions for Teachers of Grade 1
Classes in Primary Schools” was concentrated on the introduction and assessment
of educational practices through educational tools and the participant teachers
received free-of-charge education material packages.
Mahnaz Golban, one of the
teachers who participated in this course, elaborated on the importance of
organizing such courses and said: “I have been a teacher of grade one classes
in primary schools since 18 years ago. This is the first time that such an even
has been organized through DAT initiatives in order to enhance the potentials
of teachers.”
She pointed out: “Participation
in such courses can be quite useful because these courses encourage teachers to
pay special attention to their students and help them increase their expertise
and knowledge in identifying learning disruptions among their students.”
Referring to the tremendous
content of materials presented for teachers in this course, Globan added: “This
year, I have 7 students with special needs in my class and participation in
this educational and technical course was quite useful for me.”
She said: “Grade 1 of the
primary school has a specific importance, because, during this stage, students
should proximate to their teacher, consider her as their own mother, and enjoy
being in the school.”
“By using educational packages
that I have received in this workshop, I am going to organize extra classes for
students that have special needs. Fortunately, these students have experienced
fantastic developments,” Golban concluded.
Mahdieh Qara’ati Fard, another
teacher of grade 1 classes who was also a participant in the workshop on
“Educational-Technical Course on Learning Disruptions for Teachers of Grade 1
Classes in Primary Schools” said: “This is the first year that I have been a
teacher for grade 1 classes in primary schools and participation in such
courses can be quite useful for those teachers who have little experience and
are considered as newcomers into this arena.”
She pointed out: “This year, I
have 3 students who are suffering from learning disruptions and fortunately I
came across good ideas in this workshop and I hope that these ideas can help me
tackle with the problems of such students.”
“Holding such training courses
is a very good and special initiative and I hope such efforts continue and
special attention be paid to grade 1 classes in primary schools,” Mahdieh
Qara’ati Fard concluded.
