Iranian NGO in the field of disabled people.
According to Peyk-e Tavana DAT
was selected as the best Iranian NGO in the field of disabled people and
received an honorary diploma of the conference at the conference of “NGOs and
Experiences Learned on the Disabled”, held by the Ministry of Co-operation,
Work and Social Welfare, and by participation of Shannidokht Mollaverdi,
Special Assistant to Iranian President, Ali Rabiee, Minister of Co-operation,
Labor and Social Welfare, Anoushirvan Mohseni Bandpey, the head of the welfare,
Gholam Reza Tajgardon, chairman of the parliamentary plan and budget fraction,
Zahra Saei, head of the fraction of the Protection of the Rights of the
Disabled in Parliament, and a group of parliamentarians and leaders of the
Disabled NGOs throughout the country, at the Hall of Talash.
In the conference, of among the
300 active NGOs in the field of disabled people, 43 NGOs were selected.
Finally, eight active NGOs were introduced as the top NGOs in the country, and
DAT with a score of 2,713 points and based on 18 functional indicators and More
than 680 scores received the status of the best NGOs in the field of disabled
people.
The Center for the Protection of
Disabled People with Spinal Cord Injury (IRI) with 2,800 points stood at the
second place and the Bavar Association with the 1,715 points stood at the third
place among the best-elected national organizations.
