DAT honors International Day of Families

DAT held a ceremony on the occasion of International Day of Families by presence of 51 families in the camp of Yanesabad on the June 2, 2016, according to International Relations of DAT.


DAT held a ceremony on the occasion of International Day of Families by presence of 51 families in the camp of Yanesabad on the June 2, 2016, according to International Relations of DAT.

The ceremony was held by presence of about 230 invitees and some authorities such as gentlemen Mohsen Qasemi, social director general of the governor, Mohamed Abdi, exceptional education expert, Hussain Jannatiha, family psychologist, a group of honorary teachers of DAT, DAT chairman and members of board of directors and some members of DAT.

At the ceremony families with their disabled children attended and the disabled children wrote their wishes on white balloons and sent aloft them. Ban Ki-moon’s message on the occasion of the International Day of Families was distributed among the audiences.

Short speeches were delivered by gentlemen Ghasemi, Abdi, Jannatiha about the value of family in society and its effect on the society. At the end of the ceremony, chairman of board of directors of DAT said ‘’families have important role in society as well as upbringing of the next generation; especially mothers who have children with disabilities resemble the angels who must realize that the rate of their attentions towards the talents of their children would determine levels of their children`s successes in the future. Families should note that their disabled children were created for great professions and their disabilities is indeed a bridge for thinking and practice for research.
